Course content

THEORY

 

This will include all discussions listed above and training on proper lip tinting technique. 

 

IN-CLASS  

You will be provided with class location prior to training.

 

DAY 1 

​

The morning will begin with exploring your professional student kits and getting familiar with your new tools of the trade.  We will go over the contents of your professional kits and work with practice skin and your machine.  You will have a full demonstration of Kristela Inks way on working with her technique. We place emphasis on both Theory and Practical to get a full understanding of what lip blushing is all about. 

 

Day 2. 

We will work on more practical and really work on your craft, make adjustments to your technique.  We will cover in depth knowledge on pigments/color theory and how to color correct previous work. In addition, we will cover lip neutralization and how to work on dark lips. Dark lips shouldn't be taken lightly as the skin layer is very delicate and lips should heal nicely when done correctly. Towards the last half of the day, you will watch your instructor do a live model demonstration.

DAY 3. 

You will complete your first official procedure under very close supervision with your instructor.  It is your responsibility to provide a model. If you are having difficulty providing one - you can coordinate with your instructor a week or two before training.  Each model will be responsible for paying a model fee of $50

Fee’s cover cost of all sanitary disposable products on your models which are provided by Kristela Ink.

 


Treatment quality is of upmost importance at Kristela Ink.

​

 It is the responsibility of Kristela Ink to ensure that the students are creating flawless work in class. If they are not working to her standards she will step in and show the student how to complete all procedures to a flawless level. 


​

Touch ups: with all students’ cosmetic makeup procedures there will likely be touch ups required to reach maximum results. It is the STUDENTS responsibility to exchange information with their model and communicate after the procedure to make touch up arrangements. The students may choose to charge a small fee to cover their hard costs. The term ‘touch ups’ is deceiving as often it is the same amount of work and hard costs involved as the initial treatment. On average, students can take up to 3 treatments to achieve perfection when entering the cosmetic tattoo industry. Practice makes improvement and with time you should be able to achieve perfection in 1-2 sessions.

Please ensure your model is aware of ALL contraindications provided in your online training module and that they arrive on time. They can prepare to be with you for up to 3 hours for the procedure.

At the end of the day, skill level permitting, you will receive your certificate of completion of the Program issued by Kristela Ink Aesthetics Studio & Academy.
